Room 22 at Crespi High in Encino is going to be crowded today at noon, as five baseball players of veteran Coach Scott Muckey will sign letters of intent. It’s the most in school history and provides a clue as to how good the Celts figure to be this spring.

Second baseman Carlos Lopez is headed to Cal State Fullerton, pitcher Ryan Hawthorne to Loyola Marymount, pitcher Tyler Johnson to Stony Brook, catcher Jeremy Rodriguez to Cal State Bakersfield and pitcher Sean Gilmartin to Florida State.
