Call me Insane in the Brain, but every time I read about Citrus Hill, I think about that one-hit wonder hip hop band that made Cheech and Chong look like Donny and Marie.

I guess if I forced my kids to grow up in an outpost like Perris, the least I could do is send them to a school with a juicy name.

From what I’ve read, the football team isn’t bad either. The Hawks finished 10-0 during the regular season and enter the East Valley Division playoffs as the top-seeded team.

San Jacinto is seeded second and Citrus Hill beat the Tigers by 20 points during Mountain Pass League play. That’s good enough for me to fill in the Hawks as winners of this bracket.

Watch out for third-seeded Desert and fourth-seeded Bishop Union. These teams don’t have a prayer of defeating Citrus Hill in the playoffs, but there’s a possibility they could host the Hawks, forcing them to travel on dark, desolate highways and leaving them vulnerable to a UFO abduction.

Really.
