It’s halftime at Santa Ana Stadium, and fourth-seeded Orange Lutheran looks good. Not great, but good. And it still leads Mission Viejo, 21-7, in a Pac-5 Division playoff opener. It could be an even bigger margin, but a high snap foiled a field goal attempt,

The Lancers’ defense has four interceptions, but not all are QB Allan Bridgford’s fault. One came as he was being hit, another went through a receiver’s arms, and another came in the end zone on the last play of the half. Bridgford has been sacked twice, but he did score on a four-yard run.

Ricky Pemasa has rushed for two TDs and Tyson Seneca ran in for another. The real story, though, is QB Blake Hyepock, who is 13 of 19 for 167 yards with one interception.
