Orange Lutheran’s defense really started to assert itself, sacking Allan Bridgford three times on Mission Viejo’s only possession of the third quarter in a Pac-5 Division first-round game at Santa Ana Stadium.

The Diablos converted a couple of fourth-down situations but finally turned the ball over on downs at the Lancers’ 36. From there, Orange Lutheran drove down field and Ricky Pemasa scored from two yards on the first play of the fourth quarter for a 28-7 lead.
