Martin is no longer a UCLA commit

Jonathan Martin, an offensive tackle at North Hollywood Harvard-Westlake, has rescinded his commitment to UCLA.

He’s now headed to Stanford. Martin comes from a family of academic achievers, and he originally was interested in Harvard, then committed to the Bruins last summer.

When Stanford started to pursue him recently after seeing his test scores and indicating that he’d be accepted, he changed his mind again. He said Monday he was always interested in Stanford, and when the academic situation cleared up the Cardinal became his school of choice.
