Lutheran added to its lead by driving 85 yards and scoring with 58 seconds left in the first half. Ricky Pemasa carried it in from two yards after Blake Ayles made another nice catch with a defender all over him.

It’s 21-13, Lutheran.

I’m wondering if Nick Crissman is hurt. Edison has the ball at its 16 with 53 seconds left, but instead of passing -- and using its three timeouts to manage the clock -- Crissman handed off to Areseo Lakey three times to run out the clock. Very surprising. On Edison’s previous possession, Crissman was sacked by Pemasa on third down.

The Lancers actually look kind of un-Lutheran-like. Couple of fumbles, some penalties ... they just don’t seem to be at the very top of their game.

Scores from other Pac-5 games are cooming in, including Crespi’s 24-0 lead over Mater Dei. I just told the guys from the Register, ‘As much as we’ve hyped Mater Dei this year, if they lose, I’ll go over to the school and beat up Bruce Rollinson.’ Yeah, I think they know I’m bluffing, but man, 24-0???

I’m guessing MD makes a run at the Celts before its over.
