Mira Costa is one game away from advancing to the girls’ volleyball Division I state finals. The Mustangs are leading Redondo, 25-15, 23-25, 25-20, here at Mira Costa High.

Outside the gym things are just as heated. Fans that arrived late have been locked out, and those inside the gym are not being allowed to come back in if they step outside. One fan has been heading to the door during each pause in the action to give the score to the outsiders.
