All the other games are ending and we’re just starting the fourth quarter here at the Inland Division semifinal between Corona Centennial and visiting Chaparral.

The Huskies just saw their lead shrink to 61-14 as Chaparral scored a touchdown on Centennial’s second-string defense, and now the Pumas are acting as if they’ve just won the Super Bowl.

In actuality, we’re on a running clock here in the fourth quarter, but Chaparral threw in the towel long ago, lowering the observation tower the assistants were watching the game from at halftime and leaving it down.

Centennial’s back-up running back just carried the entire Chaparral defense on his back for 25 yards.
There’s no way Birmingham or Long Beach are better than the Huskies.
