The Patriots will break the streak.

Since the City and Invitational formats were created in 1998, no City champion has successfully defended its title.

But unless something miraculous happens in the fourth quarter tonight at the Coliseum, the Patriots will make it two titles in a row, their third in the the last four years and fourth in the past sox.

After three quarters it’s Birmingham, 41-0.
