-- Bishop Amat Varsity Classic: In addition to the Lancers, who are ranked No. 1 in the Southern Section Division V preseason coaches’ poll, the 16-team tournament features Royal (No. 3 in Division II), Woodbridge (No. 10 in Division IV) and Canyon Springs (No. 2 in Division V).

-- Eagle Invitational at Lancaster:Includes at least 20 teams, including three of the top-ranked teams in Division V (No. 4 Peninsula, No. 5 Highland and No. 6 Mira Costa).

-- Edison’s Beach Bash: Features several ranked teams, including two top-ranked squads (Division III Santa Fe and Division VI Western), as well as El Modena (No. 9 in Division I), Buena Park (No. 8 in Division II), St. John Bosco (No. 3 in Division III), Palm Desert (No. 8 in Division IV) and Loara (No. 3 in Division V).

-- Desert Duals at La Quinta: The Blackhawks (No. 6 in Division IV) will host 16 varsity teams (there is a separate JV tournament), including Big Bear (No. 10 in Division V), Beaumont (No. 9 in Division VI) and Perris (No. 10 in Division VI).
