Pacifica’s Raymond Huizar has been sharp, like a new razor blade.

The junior carved up the Cypress defensive backs for 214 yards on 10-of-11 passing in the first half. Those numbers could have been even bigger but he had an 80-yard touchdown pass play nullified by penalties in the first quarter.

Pacifica’s defense played really well in the first half, but they could give up a score on each of Cypress’ possessions in the second half and it won’t matter if the Centurions’ defense doesn’t stop Huizar, whose two touchdown passes have contributed to Pacifica’s 24-7 lead at halftime.
