The Streak-O-Meter is freaking out -- all because of the Palos Verdes girls’ soccer team.

The Sea Kings -- unranked in the Southern Section’s preseason coaches’ poll, mind you -- have rattled off four consecutive wins to blaze out of the gate, most recently beating South Torrance, 1-0, as Elizabeth Caparis scored in the 14th minute and Laura DiBiase made five saves in net.

Their next match is at 11:45 a.m. Saturday against visiting Beverly Hills.
