This Inland Division final is turning into the yawner I though it’d be.

Centennial leads Santiago, 14-0, at the half. The Huskies put together an 87-yard touchdown drive in the last four minutes of the second quarter to extend their lead. Centennial quarterback Matt Scott has touchdown runs of 26 and one yard.

Otherwise, the top-seeded Huskies are pretty much sleepwalking their way through this one, giving City Section fans some ammunition when it comes time to select the state Division I bowl championship game representative. Is that why Eric Sondheimer is in such a good mood right now?

Frankly, I’m tired of thinking about it, much less blogging about who should represent SoCal next week, as long as Crespi beats Poly tonight. That way, we’ll have three teams from The Times’ coverage area opening a can of you-know-what next week on our NorCal visitors.

It’ll be the Dodgers vs. the Giants, USC vs. Cal, sunny blue skies vs. fog and rain, water vs. no water ... you get the picture.
