What if Scott had stayed at Moorpark?

Gerry Gittleson of the Daily News just asked a reasonable question, although he wasn’t asking it of me: ‘Do you think Moorpark would be here if Darrell Scott had stayed?’

Scott was at Moorpark, pictured in 2006 in a Musketeer uniform, until last summer, when he transferred. You know, maybe the Musketeers would have been here, rather than losing in the first round to Atascadero, 28-14. I know one thing: Hart would be in better shape than it is right now.

Scott just scored again, from 11 yards, to complete a 41-yard drive. The St. Bonaventure defense gets an assist on this one, having forced Hart to punt from its 12-yard line.

St. Bonny’s now leads, 28-15.
