Brentwood girls’ basketball might vanish from rankings

The Brentwood Eagles are on shaky footing -- at least in regards to The Times’ rankings where they opened the season at No. 23. Brentwood (2-3) lost the Redondo tournament’s 11th-place game on Saturday to Fairfax and could soon vanish from the rankings altogether.

The good news? With star Lauren Edwards, the Eagles have a chance to string together a hot streak.
