Lakewood boys’ basketball hits a slump

The Lancers lost by 13 points to Ocean View and 28 to Santa Margarita. They’ve lost three out of four. And they might lose their Times’ preseason ranking at No. 23.

But talent is still there with Kevin McClelland (17 points per game), table-setter Andre Marquez and 6-foot-11 Kyle Clark. So look for the Lancers to battle it out in the Moore League race -- or, at least, they should.
