Predictions: The Big 5

I hate making predictions, but you know, somebody has to give Concord De La Salle the bad news.

Here are my picks for the five, er, three state bowl games Saturday at the Home Depot Center:

Corona Centennial 42, De La Salle 41 (Division I, 7:30 p.m.)
Oceanside 21, Novato 7 (Division II, 3:30 p.m.)
St. Bonaventure 35, Modesto Central Catholic 21 (Division III, 11:30 a.m.)

So-called expert: Last week, 12-2; season, 100-43-3
