In case you missed it tucked away in my Eric Sondheimer’s story about Mater Dei quarterback Matt Barkley being named Gatorade’s national player of the year, Khaled Holmes, one of the most highly-prized offensive linemen in the country and Barkley’s teammate, has committed to USC.

Holmes, a 6-5, 305 tackle at Mater Dei, is the brother of former USC tight end Alex Holmes.

Khaled reportedly called the opportunity ‘too good to pass up.’
