That sizzling you hear is not bacon. It’s Lynwood, winner of seven consecutive games after losing its season opener to Loyola. The star of the streak: D’Angelo Scott is averaging 20 points and seven rebounds. He scored 28 in a 70-67 victory over St. John Bosco in the championship game of Saturday’s Salesian tournament.

Other stars: Allen Iv Jiles (15.1 points per game) and Michael Black (13.9 points and 4.3 rebounds). Lynwood hosts Artesia (2-6) at 7 p.m. Wednesday in a nonleague game.
