The Mayfair girls’ soccer team is young. And good.

As the Press-Telegram pointed out, the Monsoons lost a slew of seniors -- eight total -- and they’re still the favorite to return to the division finals. You want proof? Check out their 8-2-2 record and their ranking: No. 2 in Division III. Also note how they’ve outscored the opposition, 20-5. And perhaps watch their next game: Wednesday at Artesia 3 p.m.
