Revenge will be on the mind of every Campbell Hall basketball player Saturday at the Mission Prep Christmas Classic. Why, you ask? Well, the Vikings will be facing St. Andrew’s of Barrington, RI., the only team able to hand the seemingly unbeatable boys from North Hollywood a defeat last year.

‘Oh yeah, we remember,’’ Coach Terry Kelly said of the 79-77 setback at the Bay Ball Classic, annually one of the premiere tournaments on the East Coast. Can’t imagine Kelly & Co. forgetting the blemish on a near-perfect season in which the Vikings finished 33-1 and won the Southern Section Div. III-AA and the state Division IV championships.

The teams enter the rematch on opposite ends of the spectrum. Jrue Holiday and Campbell Hall, No. 7 in The Times’ preseason rankings, have done well being in the national spotlight this season. The Saints, on the other hand, have struggled, losing more games than they’ve won. My prediction: The Hall wins by 20 points.
