I wondered if the Palisades boys’ basketball team could play its pressure defense tonight with the same zeal and commitment as it did on Monday.

I thought that even if the Palisades players told themselves they were playing hard, their legs would prove heavy while playing their fifth game in as many days.

But even if the Dolphins are fatigued, they are making it tough for Beverly Hills.

Palisades may be leading by only a 28-25 score at halftime of the championship game of the San Fernando Valley Invitational tournament, but I already count 11 turnovers for the Normans. And the Dolphins’ pressure tends to get stronger as games wear on.
