L.A. goes all Clubber Lang on Philly

Hold on, let me put down my hoagie while I type this.

In the span of roughly 24 hours, two L.A. schools unleashed a basketball beat-down on two Philly schools. On Thursday, the Long Beach Poly girls went all Clubber Lang on Archbishop Carroll in a 46-29 victory in an Arizona tournament. Then on Friday, the Faifax boys went all Ivan Drago on Neuman-Goretti, winning, 73-62, in a Florida tourney.

Yeah, I’m from Philly -- that’s why I’m so peeved. And just let me remind you, L.A., that Philadelphia gave you both Wilt and Kobe. Both.

Now, that I’ve vented, where did I put my hoagie?
