The Culver City girls’ basketball team, which built an 11-0 record, played its first top-tier team of the season and lost. No. 9-ranked Narbonne squashed the Centaurs, 71-42, in the quarterfinals. Reiko Thomas led the Gauchos (11-3) with 22 points, 14 rebounds and two steals.

Sea Hawks are a perfect 10...

The Redondo girls’ basketball team has won its last two games by a combined 83 points -- beating St. Anthony, 71-29, Wednesday night, then tonight gouging Garfield, 65-23, in the quarterfinals. The No. 11 Sea Hawks are now 10-0.
