Just in, Dominguez beats Campbell Hall

One Compton school did what another one couldn’t. Beat Campbell Hall.

The Dominguez boys’ basketball team whipped the Vikings, 76-53, in the National Division’s quarterfinals of the Torrey Pines tournament Friday night. Jordan Hamilton had 26 points, including four three-pointers, for the No. 6-ranked Dons. Jrue Holiday scored 21 for No. 7 Campbel Hall.

Back on Dec. 13, Campbell Hall beat No. 5 Compton, 84-70.

Now Compton and Dominguez could meet in the Torrey Pines finals if the Tarbabes take out Simi Valley in the other semifinal game, which is being played right now.
