On Thursday, I called out Lancaster and blogged something to the effect the Eagles needed to get their act together and beat Moorpark in the Chaminade tournament. And, thanks to Matt Trabold‘s 17-point effort, the Eagles made me proud by defeating Moorpark, 56-48.

It’s great to see Lancaster get some scoring from someone other than Teilden McKissic and the way the team kept Moorpark’s David Buchanan under control in the second half was commendable. Let’s just see more of the same over the next six weeks or so.

Still, what’s up with Moorpark? Come on Musketeers -- one game you beat the shorts off a decent Granada Hills team only to get ‘pants-ed’ by Lancaster the next night. You guys are better than that and hopefully you’ll be showing more life when Marmonte League play flares up again next week.
