Now that the Riverside King boys’ basketball team has returned from its Hawaiian getaway, it’s time to get serious.

The Huskies are scheduled to hit the road again Saturday, this time to Oceanside, where they’ll be matched against El Camino, one of the top teams in San Diego County, in an 8 p.m. start.

I don’t know much about El Camino’s personnel, except for Nelson Rosario, who’s probably better known for his ability to catch the football and jump great distances.

Rosario, who committed to play wide receiver at UCLA, finished second in state in the long jump last June with a leap of 23 feet 8 1/4 inches and tied for fifth in the high jump at 6-8. Not sure if that means he can dunk, but he had 15 rebounds in this game earlier in the season.
