Redondo girls’ basketball endured a heart-crunching contest last week -- a double-overtime defeat to Narbonne, its first loss of the season. How would the Sea Hawks respond? Well, with resiliency and pluck, beating gutsy Gahr, 56-50, Thursday night.

The star of the show? Guess who.

Yep, Atonye Nyingifa had yet another flawless night with 26 points, 17 rebounds, six steals, five blocks and four assists for Redondo (12-1).
