Three marquee boys’ soccer teams played -- and won -- on Monday night...

Long Beach Cabrillo is, of course, a league power. Especially after David Jimenez scored his 19th and 20th goals of the season and Robert Tapia kicked in his 15th to lead the Jaguars (15-1-1, 2-0) over Long Beach Wilson.

Long Beach Jordan is still undefeated courtesy of Jesse Castaneda, Albert Reynoso and Alex Alvarez, who each scored to lead the Panthers (10-0-2, 3-0) in a 3-1 victory over Lakewood.

Millikan needed only one goal -- Jose Torres’ game-winner in the 45th minute -- as the Rams (13-1-3, 2-0) beat Long Beach Poly.

We’ll keep checking in with Moore League -- it should be a riveting race.
