Starr still looking for a job, but it won’t be at Temecula Valley

Former Woodland Hills Taft football Coach Troy Starr twice came to the Southland twice to interview for the vacant coaching position at Temecula Valley, but he’s not expected to be given the position when the school announces its new coach Wednesday.

Starr, who spent this past year serving as director of football operations at the University of Florida, said he still intends to move back to Southern California this year and pursue a high school coaching position.
