Know what I find funny? The fact I never get a chance to blog about a USC football recruit reconsidering his future plans and taking an official visit to another school. It’s always UCLA, without fail. And this time, it’s a familiar name, Bruin commit Rahim Moore of Dorsey, one of the most sought-after prospects in the nation.

The 6-foot-2, 185-pound senior safety already took trips to Georgia in late September and Arizona St. toward the end of October. These quotes indicate Moore will be traveling to North Carolina on Friday, followed by a jaunt to Arizona on Jan. 18. An unofficial visit to Texas looms as a possibility.

Keep in mind, he appeared to be back on board with the Bruins less than a week ago after finding out defensive coordinator DeWayne Walker was going to be around next season. Perhaps Moore is still weighing his options. One thing is certain, you rarely hear about any Trojans doing these kind of things.

-- Editor Bob: Chris Polk, the running back/wide receiver from Redlands East Valley is probably the most notable prospect this season who committed to USC but then changed his mind. He’s headed to Washington instead, so he must not be too interested in playing in a BCS bowl game.
