Hesperia edges Sultana in wrestling

Hesperia, No. 4 in the most recent Southern Section wrestling rankings, defeated second-ranked and Mojave River League foe Sultana, 38-27, Thursday night. Both teams lost in the semifinals of the Southern Section dual meet championships last season -- Hesperia, 56-17, to eventual-champion (and current top-ranked team) Temecula Valley, and Sultana, 45-15, to Northview (currently No. 5).
