Sure, Renardo Sidney of Fairfax was a human highlight reel (36 points, 19 rebounds, five assists and three blocks) in the Lions’ 68-63 victory over Westchester tonight in their Western League showdown.

But Sidney isn’t the only center in the City Section who put up monster numbers Friday. So too did Santee’s Josh Chatman (a.k.a. the human flyswatter) who had 11--yes you read right--11 blocks to go along with 28 points, 22 rebounds and three steals in the Falcons’ 79-45 trouncing of Southern League rival Elizabeth Learning Center.

Granted, Chatman wasn’t matched up against the likes of Westchester’s Dwayne Pollee, but his domination in the paint was impressive nonetheless. Chatman entered the contest averaging 17.3 points, 17.4 rebounds and 6.7 blocks a game -- gaudy stats that will improve with tonight’s performance.
