Birmingham’s Malik Jackson accepts USC’s offer

All-City defensive end Malik Jackson, pictured, of Birmingham was offered a scholarship by USC this past weekend and has decided to accept, Patriots Coach Ed Croson said.

Jackson stills need to qualify academically, just like his twin brother Marquis, who hopes to attend Fresno State.

Malik had earlier committed to Fresno State, but now it looks as if the Jacksons will be going their separate ways at the next level.
