Birmingham’s Milton Knox and Malik Jackson and Dorsey’s Rahim Moore were named to the CalHiSports.com 2007 all-state football team.

Knox, a senior running back, and Jackson, a senior defensive end, were integral parts of Birminghams’ back-to-back CIty championship teams.

Knox ran for 2,210 yards and 39 touchdowns in 297 carries and became the first City player to rush for more than 6,000 career yards. Jackson had 59 solo tackles, assisted on 44 others, and recorded 14.5 sacks.

Moore, a senior safety, had 112 tackles and six interceptions for Dorsey. Two of them were returned for touchdowns, including a 95-yarder against Hamilton.

Knox and Moore are expected to sign with UCLA, while Jackson is headed to USC.
