Dos Pueblos and Ventura are among the regional favorites for the Division II title, but what about defending champion Agoura?

Thanks to another trademark effort by Loyola Marymount-bound senior Casey Flacks (four goals), Agoura cruised to an 11-3 victory over Marmonte League rival Royal on Friday. The Chargers, ranked No. 6 in Division II, are in firm control of the league title race thanks to their 8-0 record and the team’s keeping an optimistic attitude about their divisional title hopes.

And why not? Flacks, a three-time All-CIF first-teamer, is one of the most dangerous scorers around, and teammate Casey Clark has developed into a reliable twine-twitcher -- I’m sure anyone on the Thousand Oaks or Royal teams can attest to that.
