Football: There’s a Charlie Weis sighting at Birmingham

Notre Dame Coach Charlie Weis was on the campus of Birmingham Monday, trying to finalize details for running back Milton Knox’s recruiting trip to South Bend this coming weekend.

Knox, the City Section player of the year, has been a long-time UCLA commit, but the Fighting Irish are trying to make a late bid.
