Tis the season for mid-year transfers.

The latest to make a bonafide change of address is running back David Dash, who ran for 1,211 yards in 193 carries and scored seven touchdowns as a sophomore last season at Fontana, which finished 2-8 and 1-6 in the Citrus Belt League.

Dash decided to suit up for cross-town rival A.B. Miller next season. Miller was 10-2 and 6-1 in league play this fall. The biggest offensive threat for the Rebels, quarterback A.J. Springer, was a senior last season, but their top two running backs, Jonathon Gayles and Jacob Guzman, were juniors, so it’ll be interesting to see how they all fit together.

You’ll probably see a lot more hand-offs next season. That much seems certain.
