When I did a boys’ basketball league-playoff rundown on Thursday, I didn’t realize how long it would take to compile. I also didn’t realize there are 21 leagues in the SF Valley/North region.

But these recent revelations aren’t going to stop me from compiling a girls’ basketball league update. I’ll try my best to get soccer ones out, too; however, by that time the playoff brackets will probably be released.

Anyway, here we go:

AGAPE -- Whoever wins tonight/Friday’s Antelope Valley Christian-Victor Valley Christian matchup gets the league’s final automatic playoff berth. Academy of Excellence has clinched the league title.

ALPHA -- Village Christian has clinched third place behind champion Whittier Christian and second-place Maranatha.

CHANNEL -- Ventura is the league champion and Buena and Dos Pueblos also qualify for the postseason.

CONDOR -- Thacher has secured the league title and Cate also will be making the playoffs.

DELPHIC -- L.A. Baptist needs to beat league champions Sierra Canyon tonight to get the league’s final automatic playoff berth.

FOOTHILL -- Hart has clinched a share of the league title and can win it outright with a victory over Saugus tonight. If Canyon beats Valencia tonight, it’ll force a third-place tie with Vikings, but give the Cowboys the automatic playoff seed. However, the loser qualifies for an at-large berth.

FRONTIER -- Villanova Prep has clinched the title. Carpinteria and La Reina are also playoff-bound.

GOLDEN -- Knight has already claimed the title and Quartz Hill and Palmdale have also secured playoff spots. Lancaster and Antelope Valley are duking it out for the final automatic playoff spot.

HERITAGE -- Granada Hills Hillcrest Christian has finished second behind league title-holders Milken.

LIBERTY -- Buckley and Viewpoint are co-league champions and Oakwood finished third. Holy Martyrs could be chosen for a wild-card slot.

LOS PADRES -- St. Joesph goes undefeated in league to take the title. If Lompoc beats Santa Maria tonight, it could tie Morro Bay for second place. Cabrillo could qualify for an at-large berth.

MARMONTE -- Royal has clinched the title and Newbury Park has secured second place. Moorpark and Thousand Oaks are playoff bound, but both are still tied for third. Moorpark plays Westlake tonight and Thousand Oaks tips off against Newbury Park.

MISSION -- Notre Dame clinched the league title with a victory over Harvard-Westlake on Thursday. The Wolverines are second and Chaminade is third.

OLYMPIC -- Montclair Prep finished second behind league champions Pacific Hills and Windward is third.

OMEGA -- Like its boys, Newbury Park Adventist has taken the league title. Trinity Lutheran is second and San Fernando Valley Academy looks good for third.

PAC-7 -- Arroyo Grande has the league title and Atascadero and Righetti are also playoff-bound.

PACIFIC -- Burroughs claimed the league’s second-place playoff seeding with a victory over Burbank on Thursday. Muir won the league title and Crescenta Valley and Pasadena are in the postseason.

PACIFIC VIEW -- Oxnard cruised to the title and Channel Islands and Rio Mesa have made the playoffs.

SANTA FE -- Bell-Jeff and St. Mary’s Academy are co-league champions.

TRI-VALLEY -- Oak Park upset Fillmore on Thursday, so the Flashes and Oaks Christian are co-champions. St. Bonaventure finished third to get an automatic playoff berth.

By the way, you may notice I’m missing the Westside League, and that’s because I don’t have access to complete records. Come on coaches -- call in your scores! Email us to learn how.
