The Brandon sisters, Gennifer and Kimberly, aren’t twins. But at 6-foot-3 and 6-1, respectively, they are the Twin Towers of the Chatsworth girls’ basketball team.

So Gennifer, a junior center, and Kimberly, a senior forward, can and should expect all kinds of defensive attention from Narbonne when the teams play for the City Section Championship Division title Saturday in the Sports Arena. Tipoff is scheduled for 6 p.m.

‘They are both pretty good players,’ Narbonne Coach Victoria Sanders said of the Brandon pair. ‘I feel Chatsworth will live and die with how well they play. And you have to respect their game because of their size.’

Sanders did not want to be specific about defensive strategy. But it sounds as if the Gauchos will try to make any other Chancellor besides Gennifer and Kimberly beat them for the title.
