It’s official: Renardo Sidney is feeling it. The Fairfax junior scored 10 points in the third quarter of Saturday’s City Section title game, but his efforts were not enough to give the Lions the lead. Taft is still up, 48-38, at the end of the third quarter of the Championship Division showdown.

Fairfax got as close as 41-38 following a pair of baskets by Sidney. The Toreadors answered, though. Larry Drew converted a layup and Bryce Smith hit a three-pointer. If the Lions are going to make this game interesting, Sidney must continue scoring in bunches.
