Defending state champion Fairfax had very little time to get some information on Etiwanda, the team the Lions host tonight/Tuesday in the second round of the Southern California Regionals.
Coach Harvey Kitani called a few coaches he knew for some intel, and acquired some video of an Etiwanda game.
But the Lions, who defeated Perris, 78-62, on Monday, didn’t get to practice before the game. So the team had to absorb what it could.
‘You end up talking about what a particular team might do,’ Kitani said. ‘But at this stage, most of the things teams are doing we have gone over during the course of the season. It’s just that, we might not have seen it for a while.’
