Wild, wild third quarter here at Westchester. All you homers who only show up for the Fairfax game are missing out.

The fourth-seeded Comets dominated fifth-seeded King in the quarter, but only outscored the Wolves by three points in this Southern California Regional Division I quarterfinal, leaving them with a 59-50 deficit heading into the fourth.

King’s best player, Eric Wise, picked up his third personal foul with 5:17 remaining and sat out the rest of the quarter.

The Comets destroyed King on the offensive glass, even on free throws, but somehow the Wolves are hanging in. Both teams are in the bonus already, so we could see a lot of free throws down the stretch.
