Josh Thomas made an outside shot with 38 seconds left to give Renaissance a 51-50 lead over Price. Then Thomas made two free throws with 12.8 seconds left for a 53-50 lead.

A Price basket by Tyreese Breshers with five seconds left, then two free throws by Justin Cook with under a second left gave Renaissance a 55-52 victory in the Southern California Regional Division V final at Mater Dei.

Give Price credit for coming back from a 14-point deficit in the third quarter, but Renaissance’s experienced senior guards, Thomas and Cook, came through in crunch time.
