Soccer: Southern California Regional finals predictions

Thanks to Thousand Oaks, I didn’t go 12-0 with my semifinals predictions. Perfection eluded me, yet again. No worries, though, I still finished a respectable 11-1.

During the Southern California Regionals I’ve been 29-7. I know. I don’t know how I did it either. Will my luck run out for the finals? Can I write another sentence that ends with a question mark? Yes, I can.

Here are my predictions for the finals. As always, my predicted winners are in bold.

BOYS’ FINALS, ALL MATCHES AT WARREN HIGH

Division I:

No. 7 Poway vs No. 1 Santa Monica, 1 p.m.

Division II:

No. 2 San Diego Cathedral vs No. 1 Santa Margarita, 3:30 p.m.

Division III:

No. 8 Avenal vs. No. 3 Salesian, 10:30 a.m.

GIRLS’ FINALS, ALL MATCHES AT DOWNEY HIGH

Division I:

No. 8 Thousand Oaks vs No. 2 Long Beach Wilson, 3:30 p.m.

Division II:

No. 1 San Diego Cathedral vs No. 2 Granite Hills, 10:30 a.m.

Division III:

No. 1 Oaks Christian vs. No. 2 La Jolla Bishop’s, 1 p.m.
