Gladstone baseball coach goes for win No. 500

Covina Gladstone Coach Rick Remkus needs one more victory to get to 500. He will reach the milestone today if his Gladiators (3-1) beat Pomona (2-5) at home -- no pressure, Gladiators.

Last year, the Gladiators finished third in the Montview League with a record of 12-10. This year, they are off to their best start since 2004-05, when they were 3-2 and won the league title with a record of 17-4.
