Santa Margarita leads Sacramento by 11 at halftime

Santa Margarita has to be satisfied coming away with a 40-29 halftime lead over Sacramento in the state Division III boys’ basketball championship game.

Sacramento’s Chase Tapley has been outstanding, scoring 23 of his team’s 29 points. But Klay Thompson has scored 21 points for Santa Margarita and he’s received help from Jaime Serna and Zack Zaragoza.
