Tournaments like the Anderson Bat National Classic can turn the best prep pitching staffs into a bunch of noodle arms. But Orange Lutheran, which plays Crespi in the championship game tonight at 7:15 at Cal State Fullerton, can throw three bonified starters at opponents.

No. 3 Aaron Gates (4-0) will try to help make Orange Lutheran the first Orange County team to win the tournament’s title since Esperanza in 2005.

The Lancers (12-1) would also like to extend their winning streak, which stands at a school-record 11 straight games.
