It looks as if Corona del Mar finally got its man. After a months-long search, the school has apparently locked up Jason Hitchens, and has even dotted the i’s and crossed the t’s, according to Steve Fryer.

Hitchens signed a contract Wednesday, about five days after he was originally going to sign it.

Hitchens won three league titles in six seasons at El Modena, and coached St. Margaret’s to a 14-0 campaign in 2006.

He inherits a Corona del Mar team that went 4-5 last season.

In 2007, Hitchens was defensive coordinator at Villa Park (1-9). The only team Villa Park beat was Corona del Mar, 21-6.
