McMorrow and Sanders win singles titles at Ojai tournament

Just a quick recap of what happened today/Saturday in the Ojai Valley Tennis Tournament: Kyle McMorrow of Thousand Oaks won the CIF Boys’ Singles with a 6-1, 6-3 victory over Crossroads’ Reese Milner.
Britney Sanders of Ontario Christian won the Girls’ 18s Singles division when Kaitlyn Christian retired after losing the first set, 6-1. Freshman Marcos Giron of Thousand Oaks lost to Weil Academy’s David Watson, 7-6(6), 6-3, in the Boys’ 16s final.
Crossroads and Santa Barbara shared the Griggs Cup, awarded to the team that accumulates the most combined points in singles and doubles.
